The overall goal of the Swiss Society of Psychiatric Epidemiology (SSPE) is to provide the integrating platform for the common interest of all people in Switzerland working in the fields of psychiatry and epidemiology.

 

The SSPE is open to all activities in basic and applied research in psychiatry. The activities within this domain represent the driving force of the SSPE.

 

The bi-annual assembly and the bi-annual scientific meeting form the integrating forum with emphasis laid on the interdisciplinary aspects of research in psychiatry.

 

The SSPE represents the interests of its members in other scientific societies, political and educational institutions.
